Key Issues Relating to Electric Supply Facing Citizens in District Mardan

Join our Discussion Group and Share Your Ideas

The citizens in District Mardan are paying for the line losses incurred due to excessive billing by PESCO which now is an independent and autonomous organization. Energy theft in the district is very common and many accuse the administration and the officials of equally responsible for this theft. Although the blame can be argued as false perceptions but the reality remains the same, that consumers who are not responsible for the theft are paying with excessive billing which needs to be addressed.

Although PESCO has created a dedicated desk for excessive billing and some grievances are addressed many continue to complain of the problems they face. As citizens of Pakistan, we seek a systemic remedy of this problem and this can only happen if PESCO Improves is policy, administration and efficiency.
